When I first started out a few years ago, I kept looking for the key to success. 🔑

Y'know, that BIG SECRET everyone else seemed to know that I didn't.

I took courses, I purchased guides (like... too many guides), I studied what others were doing, I watched all the videos... And sure, I learned some stuff.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But you know what helped me the most?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
STARTING!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I took a deep breath and went for it, not really knowing what I was doing the whole time. 🤫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I took on small projects, I worked for people in my social circle, even family! Nothing was too small for me and that's exactly how I built up my portfolio.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Very quickly, I learned more about myself, what direction I wanted to go in, and how to manage clients. I also figured out how to streamline a process that worked best for ME.

I'm still working on refining many angles of my business, but I'm so excited for the future because I can only grow and move forward. ✨

For what it's worth, there is no key to success because success looks different for everyone. It might be getting your first client or 100th client. It might mean finally having a plan in place. It might mean having more time in your schedule to feed your passion.

No matter what, getting that real-world experience is the ONLY way you'll ever learn.

I got away over the weekend to get some much neede

I got away over the weekend to get some much needed R&R. We went on our annual camping trip and I must have spent 6 hours a day feeding chipmunks 🥲

With renovating the new house and working with amazing clients, I was beyond burnout.

You really don’t realize how much you need a break until you come back feeling recharged and ready to dive back into those same projects you were starting to dread.

The only problem is how much I’m missing this beautiful place. 💕

I suppose waiting each year for this is what makes it so special.
